The Museum's exhibits, tours and public programs provide visitors of all ages and backgrounds with a broad understanding of human anatomy, infectious disease, common health risks, past and current medical procedures and technologies, and Mobile's prominent place in the history of medical education and public health in Alabama. Hundreds of students from colleges and universities, technical schools, and K-12 schools visit the museum each year as part of their curriculum and professional training.
